What is your greatest strength?

If asked this question try to discuss the skills that align with the needs of the company. Try coming up with 3 to 5 key strengths that match those listed in the job posting. It’s important to show them that you have the qualities of the applicant they’re looking to hire.

What is your greatest weakness?

You don’t want the interviewer to think that you are not capable to do the job. Analyze the key strengths that are needed for job and answer with skills that are not important for that position.

Why should we hire you?

Convince them on your interest in the company and how you are the top fit for that position. You want to let them know you have the requirements to fill the needs and solve the problems of that specific job.

How do you manage stressful situations?

The hiring manager wants to know how efficiently you work under stress and pressure. Don’t be vocal about how much stress bothers you. Try turning a negative into a positive, discuss a time when you were given a difficult task, how you dealt with the stress and became a more productive worker.

What are your goals for the future?

New employees are expensive to train and take a lot of time, employers want to be sure you won’t leave in a hurry. Focus on your position and answer with projects and goals that match those of the company. If your career plans are aimed to fill the needs of the organization you will be a successful candidate
